Depression continues to rise in 2018
Depression, it seems that some things don't change, only death and taxes, however the statistics stack up to reveal that depression is also one of these things that change year on in and out, and about every ten years in Australia the statistics reveal that 3% more of the population will have symptoms of depression, and this costs the economy billions, the prospect of rising statistics is probably more the worry however, as it would reveal that we are not getting better at slowing anxiety and depression, is it the fast paced western ideas and such competitiveness that we no longer look over the fence to ask our neighbour if they are ok, or our workmates that come in with a smile but are really struggling with the world if they were to reveal beyond the veil
And then you put relationships in the mix, these are becoming more difficult to fulfil ongoing statistically more than ever, with families becoming less able to combat an internal upset to keep the wheels rolling, if only for the kids, have we got better or is it easier to jump ship, and share the kids? It's all complex and it has always been difficult, and as the population increases will we need to do it better?
This is where agencies come in, with the prospect of coming along side those who are really finding it difficult and do need the help to pull the bootstraps on, the walk 7down the path of being more fulfilled in spite of life's circumstances.
